Just read Glenn Greenwald, and man, if he doesn’t say what I’m talking about, but in his usual long-ass way. Actually, it’s Tom Brokaw and Chris Matthews who say it:
BROKAW: You know what I think we’re going to have to do?
MATTHEWS: Yes sir?
BROKAW: Wait for the voters to make their judgment.
MATTHEWS: Well what do we do then in the days before the ballot? We must stay home, I guess.
BROKAW: No, no we don’t stay home . . . But we don’t have to get in the business of making judgments before the polls have closed. And trying to stampede in effect the process.
There you go. These two media goofs say it all. If only they listened to themselves.
“Here, once again, we encounter the renowned judgment and deep wisdom of Bill Kristol, Son of Irv…”
Ah yes, my favorite person in the world: Bill Kristol! So many things to be wrong about, so many media outlets to be wrong in–that’s my Bill. GG continues on today in another post that says it all about Irving’s son. Remember, it’s opposite day!
“It’s the tears. She pretended to cry. The women felt sorry for her. And she won.”
Then again, it’s always opposite day in Bill Kristol’s world. If I had not already written it, you could say that this post provides all the material for the forthcoming Milk at Midnight song “Kristol Ball.” I promise to provide lyrics, and a link to the song, when the time is ready. Very soon!
