If I weren’t already engaged myself, I would be lamenting yet another friend’s marriage, but alas, I am and so I can only offer congrats to Eric and Danielle. My head hurts a little from the unexpected Monday night reception. They are falling all around! A couple of other friends are just married or getting married in faraway places (Italy, Ireland) and I suppose this is what happens when you grow up and get mature, cough, cough, ahem, achooey!
I think this is what normal folk go through in their twenties, when everyone starts getting married and dropping like flies, but then, who’s normal? Maybe we’re the normals and the early wedders are the freaks. Because who in their right mind would want to get hitched before they’re 35 (give or take a few)?
