A Fictitious War

Conservative George Will sounds like Michael Moore today:

What “forced” America to go to war in 2003 — the “gathering danger” of weapons of mass destruction — was fictitious.

Eventually everyone comes around to it, if they are honest. Eventually, the lies can’t hold and the center falls in and the blind can see. What a colossal waste of lives! Why? Amazing that, six years later this guy is still making his home videos and mocking the incompetence of our leader(s). “Dead or alive,” right? For a moment, try to imagine what the right-wing machine would be saying about a President Gore who failed to bring OBL to justice. Or whether he would have been impeached by now. If you are honest, you know the answers.

I forgot to add the bottom line of Will’s column (which is actually in the opening paragraph), and that is: “the surge has failed.” But we knew that.
